Exploring different worktops…

I’m working on an exciting project at the moment and exploring different worktop materials. Vs the more traditional, marble, laminate, quartz, granite or wood.

My favorite 2 currently are; Surface Matter who specialise in a material called Durat.

It’s solid and made with recycled plastic and comes in a variety of colours.

And secondly a Scottish company called Mirrl which is a solid surface material on a Birch Ply. It can be covered in a bespoke colour finish, in a choice of textures. It is so hard wearing it can be used outside.
